About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Marshall Group. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Project Quality plans to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.

  • Conduct audits to verify compliance with project-defined plans and processes, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Manage audit non-conformances to ensure timely closure of actions and prevent recurrence.

  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure process and product effectiveness.

  • Investigate quality failures, identify trends, and work with relevant stakeholders to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.

  • Conduct internal and customer complaint Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and address quality issues.

  • Manage third-party approvals, including design, testing, and certification.

  • Oversee the release of products to customers, host customer acceptance events, and manage non-conformances.

  • Visit supplier facilities to conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and First Article Inspections (FAI).

  • Monitor and facilitate closure of non-conformances, both internal and external.

  • Perform regular supplier surveillance visits to ensure compliance with company standards.

  • Conduct configuration audits and First Article acceptance of supplied items to ensure compliance with defined specifications.

  • Perform Quality Assurance duties as defined by the Project Quality Lead.

Requirements

  • Experience in project/product auditing and implementation of processes and procedures.

  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, and Visio.

  • Knowledge of coating applications and process control, as well as manufacturing process controls associated with electro-mechanical products, including welding.

  • Desirable: Member of the Chartered Quality Institute and IRCA registered, knowledge of Q-Pulse, and auditor qualified to ISO9001.
