Fuels Operative Role Overview

Serco is seeking a skilled Fuels Operative to join our team at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. As a Fuels Operative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of fuel to aircraft and other vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake fuels assurance and governance checks to ensure fuel quality and facilitate husbandry in all areas.
  • Refuel and defuel tasks for all RAF Brize Norton based aircraft, visiting aircraft, and road tankers.
  • Tank to tank transfer of fuel and undertaking of Fuel Movement Support activity.

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license required.
  • Colour perception to gain a permit for airfield driving.
  • C1 license required to complete this role.
