About the Role

We are seeking a skilled PSV/HGV Mechanic to join our team at Arriva, based at our Blyth Depot. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of commercially operated buses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and preventative maintenance to meet Arriva and DVSA standards
  • Diagnose and repair faults to ensure vehicle reliability and safety
  • Participate in quality checks and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance vehicle performance
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goal of delivering a safe, reliable, clean, and efficient service to our customers

Requirements
  • Minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification in HGV/PSV maintenance and repair
  • Full UK driving licence with 6 points or less
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
