About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Design Engineer to join our team at The Solution Group Ltd. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing steel structures for various projects, including residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop steel structures for residential and commercial projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets project requirements
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of steel design and connection design
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in steel design and steel connection design
  • Previous experience working with a steelwork contractor or consultant engineers
  • Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • GCSE & A-Level Maths and English
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings
  • Experience with Tekla Designer, Masterseries, or similar technical software
