We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ophthalmology Specialist to join our team as a Locum Consultant in Ophthalmology. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented professional to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the growth and development of our Ophthalmology department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine and emergency Ophthalmology services to our patients, working closely with other Consultants to ensure seamless care.
- Develop and maintain Ophthalmology services in line with strategic requirements, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver specialist care and develop patient pathways.
- Contribute to the development of the Glaucoma service, working closely with other Consultants to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Participate in on-call duties, providing 24/7 coverage for our patients.

Requirements- Eligibility to register with the GMC Specialist Register or eligible for admission within six months of interview.
- FRCOphth, MRCOphth, or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrate evidence of a sound ophthalmic training equivalent to that recognised in the UK.
