The Independent & Private Schools Division of this leading global brokerage operates with a boutique approach, featuring a dedicated team of approximately 40 highly skilled professionals across various functions, including Sales, Account Management, Claims, and Account Handling. This team is recognized for their expertise in the niche of educational insurance, managing some of the most esteemed accounts in the industry.

As a member of this division, you will have the opportunity to advance your career, whether you come from a background in education insurance or have experience as an Account Executive in general commercial sectors. This role allows you to work entirely from home, with the option to visit a local office as needed. You will be responsible for managing a significant portfolio of accounts located in the Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire, and surrounding areas.

Your clientele will include prestigious private and independent schools, known for their notable alumni in business, sports, politics, and royalty. While most client interactions will occur through face-to-face meetings, virtual meetings may also be utilized based on client preferences. You will collaborate with a specialized team of Business Development Executives, focusing primarily on account management while also seeking opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell additional services, such as Risk Management.

In this role, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of your clients' operations and their associated risks. Given the complexity of risks involved—such as those stemming from on-site boarding facilities, outdoor activities, and advanced science and technology labs—you will work closely with Underwriters from a select panel of insurers to create tailored insurance solutions that effectively mitigate risks at competitive premiums.

To qualify for this position, you must have prior experience as an Account Executive and a solid understanding of various commercial insurance products, including Property and Liability/Commercial Combined insurance. You will be engaging with sophisticated insurance buyers, such as school Bursars, requiring you to be a confident and articulate communicator capable of building rapport with diverse stakeholders. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.
