About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech-language Pathologist to join our team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. As a Relief Full Time SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and dedicated team of professionals, providing expert care to adults requiring communication and swallowing support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop treatment plans for clients with communication and swallowing disorders
  • Work collaboratively with clients, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to create environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing
  • Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research, and education within the department/program
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-language Pathology or equivalent
  • Registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
