Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Forklifts Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment. As a Forklifts Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, repairs, and maintenance of lifting equipment in the West Midlands area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend sites and travel to various locations in the West Midlands to perform maintenance and repairs on lifting equipment.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and servicing of lifting equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on lifting equipment, using your technical knowledge and skills to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Work closely with our clients to understand their lifting equipment needs and provide solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections of lifting equipment to identify potential issues and prevent accidents.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working on plant machinery and forklift equipment.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Ability to travel extensively in the West Midlands area.
  • Strong technical knowledge of lifting equipment and maintenance procedures.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
