Band 7 Locum Registered Mental Health Nurse Position

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd is seeking an experienced Band 7 Community Psychiatric Nurse to fill a new ongoing contract role.
Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Band 7 Community Psychiatric Nurse. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in professional leadership in a clinical/team setting and a track record of delivering care in accordance with best practice guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide evidence-based interventions to service users within the South Camden Rehabilitation and Recovery Service as per their treatment plan.
- Carry a caseload of the most complex service users within the South Camden Rehabilitation and Recovery Service, in addition to acting as the lead practitioner for the service.
- Provide senior leadership and consultation to nurses and other allied professionals within the team.
- Demonstrate a clear professional understanding and practical experience of the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act, and their application/use in practice.
- Utilise a variety of assessment tools as well as service specialist tools in practice in relation to assessment, planning care needs, and assessing and managing clinical risks.
- Support staff through change and foster a culture of continuous service improvement.
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse.
- NMC Registration.
- Extensive experience of professional leadership in a clinical/team setting.
We offer a competitive pay rate of £27 per hour (assignment rate) and a locum contract type. The working hours are Monday – Friday 9 - 5.
