Key Responsibilities- Provide effective patient care and management in the emergency department
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in the development and implementation of emergency services policies and procedures
- Contribute to the education and training of junior colleagues
- Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- MBBS or equivalent qualification
- GMC Registration (Full)
- ALS / ATLS / e-PALS certification
- 5 years post-graduation experience, including a minimum of 2 years in A&E
- Postgraduate diploma in Emergency Medicine
- 4 years A&E experience
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Good history and examination skills
- Able to manage common medical emergencies
- Able to supervise junior colleagues in the emergency department
- Ability to work as part of a team and understand the value of teamwork
