Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project teams to define comprehensive test requirements during conceptual meetings.
  • Develop meticulous test procedures, documentation, and reports to ensure thorough testing coverage.
  • Design and implement automated functional, performance, and other types of tests to streamline the testing process.
  • Conduct exploratory testing on individual components or features to identify potential issues and enhance software quality.
  • Meticulously document and track bugs throughout their lifecycle, collaborating with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Effectively communicate test status and findings to the project team, providing clear and concise updates.

Required Qualifications:

  • A strong commitment to product quality and a passion for software testing as a craft.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within a dynamic environment.
  • A technical diploma or university degree in a relevant field, demonstrating your foundational knowledge.
  • Proven industry experience in software testing, showcasing your practical expertise.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving project needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with test automation, software development, and scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with open-source testing tools such as RobotFramework, Python, Selenium, Sikuli, and Appium.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration systems like TeamCity.
  • Proficiency in Git workflow, commands, and tools such as SourceTree.
  • Experience with UI and usability testing methodologies.
  • Exposure to web software testing practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with Chrome DevTools for browser debugging.
  • Experience testing on iOS and Android devices, as well as Windows and Mac operating systems.
