Position: Personal Trainer

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary: £24, plus commission of £7 per hour for personal training sessions
- Yearly performance bonus based on overall company performance
- 28 days of holiday, increasing by one day for each year of service up to a maximum of 33 days
- Access to gym facilities and studio classes, including indoor and outdoor heated pools, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, and tennis and squash courts after three months of employment.

Role Responsibilities

As a Personal Trainer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the member experience by:

  • Leading a variety of fitness classes and providing expert instruction to participants
  • Designing and implementing personalized exercise programs tailored to individual goals
  • Demonstrating correct exercise techniques and ensuring safety during sessions
  • Monitoring participant progress and offering constructive feedback
  • Adapting exercises to suit different fitness levels and abilities
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workout environment

Required Skills

- Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and exercise science
- Strong communication skills to effectively motivate and instruct participants
- Proficiency in demonstrating exercises with proper form
- Familiarity with various fitness modalities and ability to create diverse workout plans
- Capability to modify exercises for individuals with injuries or limitations
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team

Work Schedule

This position requires 40 hours of work per week, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Essential Qualifications

- Level 3 NVQ Personal Trainer certification
- Experience in a gym setting
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Proven ability to deliver a variety of classes and personal training sessions to a high standard
- Initiative in expanding the personal training client base

- Les Mills Qualification
- Level 3 Exercise Referral Qualification
