Product Security Director

About the Role:
Proprius Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Product Security Manager to join our client's team. As a key member of the Product Security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of applications developed by the bank's DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive leadership of a technical and security-minded team.
- Help build the team and foster a culture of security awareness.
- Focus on working with platform teams to improve controls and provide an understanding of the risks posed by their platform.
- Prepare, support, and influence training and development material to support Security Champions with subject matter expertise.
- Influence business, technical, and security teams in understanding and sharing knowledge and best practices.
Requirements:
- Analytical mind with the ability to challenge and seek data-driven opportunities to improve.
- Ability to work and collaborate with engineering teams (including developers and product owners) to ensure CISO guidelines are met.
- Understanding of AWS, cloud, and security development concepts (including the use of security tooling in CI/CD pipelines).
