This exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Leader to join our Enhanced Intermediate Care Team (eICT) at Ayrshire Central Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in leading the team through a service review and development process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the team in enhancing and developing their service, while recognizing their progress in meeting the needs of our service users.
  • Utilize advanced communication skills as part of a wider multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively to provide rapid assessment and rehabilitation for our service users.
  • Develop competencies in leadership and management, working in an inter-professional manner.
  • Have a genuine interest and understanding of inter-professional and inter-agency working, with knowledge of Older Peoples Services, Care Management, and the rehabilitation Framework.
Requirements
  • A diploma/degree in a relevant clinical profession is essential, with evidence of working autonomously within the community setting.
  • Extensive clinical experience and evidence of continuing professional development are required.
  • A car licence/ownership is essential for this role.

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is committed to implementing the 37-hour working week across all areas as soon as it is safe to do so. If the department is currently unable to accommodate the reduced hours, you may be required to work 37.5 hours per week until the department can meet the requirements without impacting patient safety.
