Job Title: Interim Technical Accounting Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Interim Technical Accounting Manager to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing technical accounting expertise to our clients, including complex accounting areas such as IFRS Statutory account preparation, IFRS conversions, and implementation of new standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and prepare complex annual statutory accounts (complex UK GAAP and IFRS accounts) for clients and assist junior members of the team.
  • Offer technical accounting advice to clients, identify solutions to accounting issues, and present recommendations for director or partner review.
  • Provide support to clients from an accounting perspective, including training, developing, and mentoring more junior team members.
  • Build client relationships and be responsible for excellent client service, actively linking with other service lines to deliver client projects.

Requirements

  • Post ACCA/ACA qualified accountant with a breadth of knowledge on complex accounting areas.
  • Experience in training and developing junior team members, with a focus on driving growth and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
