We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Claims Handler/Trainee Loss Adjuster to join our team at Lawes Consulting Group. As a Claims Handler/Trainee Loss Adjuster, you will be responsible for assisting experienced loss adjusters in managing domestic and commercial property claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in Claims Management: Collaborate with loss adjusters to investigate and manage domestic and commercial property claims, ensuring all necessary information is collected and paperwork is completed.
- Conduct Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations on a case-by-case basis to determine liability and negotiate settlements.
- Build Relationships: Cultivate relationships with brokers, insurers, suppliers, and third parties to ensure seamless communication and claim resolution.
- Support the Team: Participate in conferences and meetings to explore new prospects and support the broader team in nurturing relationships with key partners.
- Site Visits: Accompany experienced adjusters on site visits to gather information and assess damage.
Requirements:
- 2+ Years of Experience: Proven experience in managing property claims, with a strong understanding of general and legal insurance principles.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulatory and legal frameworks.
