About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in pricing jobs, managing costs, and providing commercial and financial advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate new inquiries and manage ongoing costs of live projects
  • Produce and send inquiries to subcontractors, engaging with the supply chain
  • Monitor and control income and expenditure on contracts
  • Attend financial and progress meetings with clients and subcontractors
  • Provide advice and support to site teams and colleagues
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Previous experience in the construction industry, ideally in refurbishment and extension in the Education sector
  • Willingness to work on your own initiative and progress your career
  • HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying and CSCS card
