Job Description:

As an AI Security Specialist at Barclays Bank, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the bank's systems and sensitive information. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in machine learning and AI to drive innovation and excellence in the field of cybersecurity.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data processing, and AI frameworks, as well as hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions that support the safeguarding of the bank's systems and sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement protocols, algorithms, and software applications to protect sensitive data and systems.
  • Manage and protect secrets, ensuring that they are securely generated, stored, and used.
  • Execute audits to monitor, identify, and assess vulnerabilities in the bank's infrastructure and software.
  • Identify advancements to support the innovation and adoption of new cryptographic technologies and techniques.
  • Collaborate across the bank, including developers and security teams, to ensure that cryptographic solutions align with business objectives, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, data processing, and AI frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies.
  • Experience with threat modelling, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments in AI environments.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Familiarity with secure software development practices.
  • Experience in cloud security and securing AI workloads on platforms such as AWS or Azure.
