Job Title: Consultant Radiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist to join our team at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Medical Imaging and Medical Physics Directorate, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive diagnostic gastrointestinal radiology service to the Trust.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services, including MRI, CT, and ultrasound, for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with consultant colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and efficient service delivery.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement projects to enhance patient outcomes and service efficiency.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:
  • Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and a licence to practise.
  • Name on the specialist register for radiology or eligible within 6 months of the date of the interview.
  • FRCR or equivalent qualification.
  • MD or PhD or equivalent qualification.
