Job Summary
Discovery is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Yeovil. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular 'keeping safe checks' to ensure the well-being and safety of the individuals we support.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Record and document support plans, incident logs, and health and safety records using our IT systems.
- Create a calm and therapeutic environment, promoting the individuals' independence and well-being.
- Support individuals to engage in activities and make the most of their late evenings/nighttime.
- Provide personal care when required, respecting the individuals' dignity and autonomy.
Shift Pattern
The successful candidate will work a 10pm-7am shift pattern, ensuring a consistent and reliable presence for the individuals we support.
