Job Title: HR Trustee

Camberwell After School Project (CASP) is seeking an experienced HR Trustee to contribute to the charity's strategic aims and objectives. As a key member of the Board of Trustees, you will play a vital role in shaping the organization's HR strategy and ensuring the effective management of its employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an HR strategy that aligns with the charity's overall goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to the CEO on HR-related matters, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Advise on the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment legislation and best practices.
  • Support the CEO in reviewing and updating HR processes and procedures to ensure they are effective and efficient.
  • Collaborate with other Trustees to ensure the charity's governance and management practices are robust and effective.
Requirements:
  • Substantial experience as a senior HR professional, with a proven track record of success in a strategic and operational capacity.
  • Strong understanding of the UK charity sector and the need for good governance.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member and contribute to the charity's overall objectives.
