Job Title: German Translator

We are seeking a highly skilled German Translator to join our team at PTW, a leading global services company that collaborates with video game developers and publishers through outsourced production services.

About the Role

As a German Translator, you will be responsible for translating video game content from English to German, ensuring high-quality translations that meet our clients' expectations. You will work closely with our team of language specialists to produce accurate and engaging translations that bring the game to life for German-speaking audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate video game content from English to German, adhering to our clients' guidelines and style guides.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure consistency and quality in translations.
  • Provide linguistic feedback on translations carried out externally.
  • Communicate effectively with our team and clients through email and chat.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Native-level fluency in German and English, particularly reading and writing.
  • Experience in the translation industry or working professionally as a Translator.
  • Excellent knowledge of business software applications, such as Microsoft Office and memoQ.
  • Sound research and translation judgment skills, with self-motivation, adaptability, and professionalism.
