Computational Biologist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Computational Biologist to contribute to our cutting-edge computational drug discovery efforts in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the strategic evaluation and prioritisation of therapeutic targets in neurology and oncology by integrating diverse data sources, including whole-genome sequencing, single-cell transcriptomics, spatial transcriptomics, and CRISPR screens.
  • Leverage biological knowledge to inform data analysis and interpretation.
  • Collaborate with the computational biology and software engineering teams to develop and optimise pipelines for integrating multimodal data.
  • Ensure that proof-of-concept solutions are effectively transitioned into robust, well-documented, and scalable solutions.

Requirements:

  • Relevant PhD in a life sciences discipline, such as computational biology, chemistry, biochemistry, or biology, with a strong computational element.
  • Proven industry experience in computational drug discovery in biotech, pharma, or an academic drug discovery unit.
  • Working knowledge and practical experience with integrating and analysing functional genomic data for target validation and prioritisation.
