About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Generation
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to generate new business opportunities within the UK and Ireland.
  • Engage with existing and potential customers to promote our products and services.
  1. Customer Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and meetings to discuss potential opportunities and provide solutions.
  1. Project Coordination
  • Support the sales director in preparing sales proposals, offer letters, and presentation materials.
  • Manage and update sales forecasts and prospect lists to ensure accurate sales tracking.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  1. Technical Assistance
  • Provide technical support to customers by conducting site surveys, taking measurements, and creating basic sketches or AutoCAD drawings.
  • Liaise with technical support teams to ensure accurate proposal drawings and project details.
  1. Presentations and Demonstrations
  • Develop and deliver presentations in PowerPoint to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Facilitate customer visits to our facilities to showcase our products and services.
  1. Process Improvement
  • Assist in developing new sales tools, proposal templates, and methodologies to improve sales efficiency and consistency.
  • Liaise with projects, service, and installation departments to incorporate continuous improvements from the sales stage.
  1. Relationship Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and potential customers to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and competitor activity to ensure our products and services remain competitive.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Higher education to ONC or Level 3, particularly in Maths and English.
  • Experience in sales within a direct customer-facing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong time management, planning, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and flexible approach.
  • Valid passport and driving license, with the ability to travel independently in the UK and internationally.
