The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end recruitment service, working effectively with hiring managers to support and meet our current and future resourcing and talent needs.
This role provides a great opportunity to work with a range of external stakeholders, including schools, colleges, and universities, to help inspire and engage our future talent through various initiatives, such as work placements and internships.
The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to learn and develop, as well as being highly organized.
This role is based in our office at Great Yarmouth, and applicants must possess a UK passport or valid right to work in the UK documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate and develop the staff requisition process end to end, including the development and maintenance of job descriptions, talent pools, and recruitment campaigns.
- Collaborate with recruiting managers to develop job advertisements/campaigns, job descriptions, interview, and selection processes.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment and talent campaigns via our internal Recruitment system, including creation and management of job posts, candidate screening, shortlisting, scheduling of interviews, and interview panels.
- Develop and deliver the onboarding of new recruits, including right to work checks and system setup and access.
- Maintain and develop a comprehensive job description database and repository.
- Provide interview feedback, manage the offer of employment, and pre-employment checks, as well as subsequent requirements, including issuing contracts of employment, referencing, and relevant paperwork and documents.
- Manage and develop the Gardline Careers site and other social media platforms to drive awareness and engagement.
- Manage and coordinate talent initiatives, including work experience, internships, and talent development programs.
- Coordinate and lead participation and attendance at career and job fairs to raise awareness of the Gardline employer brand.
- Proven experience as a Recruitment Officer, Administrator, or Talent Coordinator, or similar role.
- CIPD Level 3 or above, or equivalent recognized qualification in Recruitment or Talent Management.
- Working knowledge of Recruitment Systems and databases.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload to ensure productivity.
- High degree of professionalism and understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Team spirit and a collaborative work ethic.
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders.
