Financial Manager Opportunity in a Growing Hospitality Business

Tailored Recruiter Ltd is proud to be the exclusive recruitment partner for a rapidly expanding SME in the hospitality industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join their team at an exciting time in their growth.

The successful candidate will report to the Commercial MD and be responsible for managing the financial accounting function, including managing two Accounts Assistants. They will also provide commercial input to drive business growth, working closely with the MD to identify opportunities and develop strategies.

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or QBE) with experience in financial management, ideally in a hospitality business or SME. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, including AP and AR, and experience of business partnering with financial analysis and cashflow forecasting.

The role will involve:

  • Preparing monthly accounts, posting accruals, prepayments, and similar entries
  • Preparing timely and detailed reports and analysis on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Driving continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting processes
  • Overseeing and managing the company's finance IT system
  • Managing the end-to-end audit process of current systems
  • Planning and managing all external audit and internal control operations
  • Assisting with payroll as and when necessary

The successful candidate will be a well-versed user of MS Office, including Excel modelling and software (e.g. Xero/Quickbooks), and have demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire others to reach their potential in managing junior finance colleagues.
