Administrative Support Specialist

This role involves a full-time commitment within the Clinical Services sector at Tempex Recruitment Ltd.
The selected individual will provide essential support to a team of seven professionals dedicated to assisting families experiencing relationship challenges and crises, particularly for children at risk of entering care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver thorough and professional administrative assistance within the Children and Families division, ensuring compliance with procedural standards and maintaining high-quality output.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of all documents, files, and electronic records, adhering to established protocols.
- Serve as the primary contact for inquiries, supplying pertinent information and resolving issues where feasible, or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Organize, coordinate, and document meetings as necessary, ensuring that all relevant materials are distributed to participants.
- Oversee the management of office supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed to ensure staff have necessary resources.
- Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies and equipment for the team/service area, ensuring consistent availability.
- Engage in training and actively participate in meetings, supervision, seminars, and other events aimed at enhancing communication and fostering professional development.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in an administrative capacity. (Essential)
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines. (Essential)
- Strong understanding of the administrative demands of a dynamic office environment. (Essential)
- Proficient in computer use, with the capability to navigate information management systems and produce high-quality data in various formats. (Essential)
- Experience within a local authority context is preferred. (Desirable)
