Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the software engineering team to deliver high-quality software products, platforms, and solutions of Enterprise or National scale, across diverse teams and in complex environments.

As a senior Head of Product professional, you will advise, influence, and inform DHCW policies regarding healthcare products and systems.

Requirements

Strong background in software engineering and software architecture.

Experience of implementing Agile ways of working.

Significant experience in a senior management role in the field of Software Engineering, Systems Architecture, and Information Technology, programme management, and/or significant senior management experience for the relevant programme.

Extensive knowledge and experience of change management, process change, and Informatics, and in particular prescribing issues and solutions.

In-depth knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects, e.g., PRINCE2, Microsoft Project, PMP, ITIL, MSP.

Capable of understanding the wider organisation objectives in its context within current National policy and strategic direction.
