Job Title: Data Scientist NLP

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join our team at Only Coders. As a Data Scientist NLP, you will play a crucial role in developing and deploying AI and machine learning models to extract insights from large datasets.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement data preprocessing pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Develop and optimize NLP algorithms to extract and interpret information from unstructured clinical narratives.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate drug discovery and optimize clinical trial processes.
  • Contribute to the development of predictive models to identify potential therapeutic targets and patient stratification strategies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a closely related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or R, with practical experience in libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and NLTK or spaCy for NLP tasks.
  • Solid understanding of AI, machine learning, and NLP concepts, with hands-on experience in supervised and unsupervised learning, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Passion for leveraging technology to improve mental health outcomes and a keen interest in staying updated with the latest advancements in the field.
