We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist to join our team in London. As a Specialist - Hedge Fund Accounting and Valuation Oversight, you will be responsible for performing oversight and controls over the operational aspects of the hedge funds operated by Janus Henderson and administered by a third-party administrator.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Review accounting and Net Asset Value (NAV) information, balance sheet, and investor returns
  • Knowledge of differing hedge fund accounting practices
  • Oversight of performance fee calculations in operation for each of the funds
  • Lead the implementation of performance fee models with the third-party administrator
  • Review performance fee testing and manage the handover into BAU
  • Document performance fee models and processes
  • Support quality and timely response to investor queries in relation to NAV and performance fees

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hedge fund accounting role
  • Understanding of performance fee models and their practical operation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to establish good working relationships with Stakeholders
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Enthusiastic, approachable, and able to work well across team
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility of tasks and actions
  • Good working knowledge of Excel

Nice to Have

  • Private credit fund experience
  • Experience of role overseeing third-party provider
