Your Role

We are seeking an Electrical Estimator to join our team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality estimates and tenders. You will work closely with the Estimator & Senior Electrical Estimator to ensure that all relevant information is provided to clients and that our bids are accurate and competitive.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluation of Tender Enquiry Documentation: You will evaluate tender enquiry documentation received from clients to ensure that all relevant information has been provided.
  • Review of Tender Information: You will review tender information received and outline the scope of the project to ensure that it is accurately tendered.
  • Maintenance of Client Relationships: You will maintain good working relationships with existing clients and develop new relationships to support the growth of our business.
  • Pre-Construction Meetings: You will attend Pre-Construction meetings with the Operations & Project Management team when bids are successful and PO's are issued.
  • Asset Value Requests: You will request asset values from our IDNO partners in relation to the scope of the project.
  • Design Measurement: You will measure designs using either PDF or Google Maps to ensure accurate take-offs are recorded.
  • Tendering Trackers: You will ensure that internal tendering trackers are kept up to date.
  • Client Feedback: You will check client feedback from tenders that are on-going and completed.
  • Project Setup: You will set up new projects on our Sharepoint.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Office Applications: You will be competent with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Diplomatic and Helpful Attitude: You will have a diplomatic and helpful attitude to all manner of challenges and problem-solving.
  • Team Player: You will be a team player.
  • Excellent Organisational Skills: You will have excellent organisational skills.
  • Pro-Active and Self-Motivated: You will be a pro-active and self-motivated individual who is looking to develop your skills and progress your career within this industry.
  • Electrical/Engineering/Construction/Project Management Qualifications: Electrical/Engineering/Construction/Project Management qualifications would be advantageous.
