Job Summary:

TechNichols Resourcing is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our client's large Maintenance team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to faults and breakdowns, working with the wider team to undertake project work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment.
  • Carry out electrical plant installation and modification work in an industrial environment.
  • Conduct statutory inspections and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Use Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to manage maintenance activities.
  • Interpret equipment drawings, manuals, and other technical information to assist with configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Work in accordance with the company's safe systems of work and permit to work systems.

Requirements:

  • Electrically qualified, ideally through an electrical apprenticeship and/or hold practical qualifications at RQF Level 3 or higher.
  • Experience in electrical preventative and reactive maintenance work in an industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of electrical plant installation and modification work in an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with statutory inspections and relevant regulations.
  • Ability to use and interpret equipment drawings, manuals, and other technical information.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
  • 18th edition electrical wiring regulations.
  • Compex (Ex01-04) & (Ex05-06) qualification.
  • Training with MEWP's.
