Exciting Opportunity for a Design Engineer in Solar PV

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join their team in Leeds, UK. As a key member of the design team, you will be responsible for creating CAD designs of commercial PV and battery storage systems that meet project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and complete design packages for project proposals from clients (including tenders)
  • Complete grid connection applications, connection surgeries, and engage with DNOs throughout the project
  • Work on PVsol and PVsyst to complete designs to exceptional standards
  • Undertake initial yield assessments of potential solar sites alongside data analysis to distinguish array size and layout

Requirements:

  • BSc in Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering
  • Experience within the Solar PV industry and experienced using PVsol and PVsyst
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Hubspot CRM and Google Sheets is desirable

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £35,000-£50,000 + Development + Progression + Holidays + Pension. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications, and skill set.
