Job Title: Private Client Solicitor

Gemini Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our client's Wills and Probate Law department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a range of Wills and Probate matters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Report directly to the Department Director and provide technical expertise and guidance to other team members and Head of Department.
  • Manage a caseload of Wills and Probate cases, including estate administration, grant of probate, setting up trusts, and advising on inheritance tax.
  • Attend clients, take instructions, and prepare cases, ensuring accurate time costing procedures and compliance with file management.
  • Implement recommendations made by supervisors following monthly file reviews and ensure prompt action is taken.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 1+ year's technical experience in Wills and Probate law.
  • Valid Practising Certificate at the time of applying.
  • Proven supervisory experience and working to key performance indicators.
  • Excellent client care skills, ability to deal with client matters in a sensitive manner, and resolve complicated practicalities.
  • Excellent networking and communication skills, with the ability to successfully market the Company and generate new business.
  • STEP qualification preferable but not essential.
