Paint Sprayer Job DescriptionPertemps Bond is seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer to join our team at our manufacturing client based in Ryde. As a Paint Sprayer, you will be responsible for preparing parts and assemblies for painting, mixing paint and other materials according to specifications, and ensuring facility and spray-painting equipment are in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare parts and assemblies for painting by ensuring they are clean and free of debris.
- Mix paint and other materials according to specifications to achieve the desired color and finish.
- Ensure facility and spray-painting equipment are in good working condition to prevent downtime and ensure quality.
- Identify and separate non-conforming parts or materials and report them to supervisors to maintain quality standards.
- Utilize a spray gun to apply paint in conformance with specifications to achieve the desired finish.
- Employ heat or oven paint drying techniques for special purpose finishes to achieve the desired effect.
- Monitor machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects or deviations from standards and make necessary adjustments.
- Use solvents, wire brushes, and cloths for cleaning sprayers and power equipment to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow company requirements to select paint and match colors according to specified color charts to ensure consistency.
- Handle material and minor maintenance tasks as required to maintain a smooth production process.
- Hardworking, reliable, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
- Experience in paint spraying is beneficial, but full training will be provided to ensure you have the skills and knowledge required for the role.
- Genuine interest in quality and a willingness to learn and improve processes.

Monday to Thursday: 8am to 4.45pm.
