About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team at BATH SPA UNIVERSITY. As a Production Manager Instructor, you will play a key role in teaching students the skills and techniques required in production projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and teach students in production management, including lectures, practicals, seminars, and workshops.
  2. Support students in developing essential skills and techniques through project-based learning.
  3. Participate in assessment meetings and mark student assessments.
  4. Manage administrative tasks, including monitoring attendance and providing feedback.
  5. Contribute to syllabus planning and maintain subject expertise.
  6. Ensure workplace health and safety and fulfill other duties as assigned by the University.

About You

Candidates should have a relevant undergraduate degree, industry experience in production management, and a strong grasp of production and event management. Desirable qualifications include a higher degree, university-level teaching experience, and an Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy. Essential skills include in-depth production knowledge, excellent communication, organizational, and IT skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
