Class 1 Driver Trunking Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Class 1 HGV Driver with at least two year's experience to join our team at People Solutions Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Class 1 Vehicles safely and efficiently (Trunking)
  • Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed to ensure roadworthiness and safety
  • Follow company procedures, customer procedures, and the Highway Code
  • Maintain health and safety standards
  • Complete deliveries as required
  • Keep vehicles clean and tidy
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Adhere to working time rules and regulations
Requirements:
  • Hold a full UK Category CE Driving Licence
  • Hold a valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC)/Driver CPC
  • Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Good communication skills
