Job Title: Secondary School Teaching Assistant and Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant and Mentor to join our team at a secondary school in Croydon. As a Teaching Assistant and Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, including Autism, ADHD, and sensory processing difficulties.

About the Role:
  • Work with students who have a variety of needs, including complex behaviour challenges and associated SEN needs.
  • Support students in developing their social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) before any academic development can happen.
  • Build strong and meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with students with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and learning difficulties.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Passion for working within SEND and making a positive impact on students' lives.
