Overview of the Quantitative Research Analyst - Data Science Role:

Investigate statistical methodologies such as Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing to derive insights from data Examine large datasets utilizing advanced statistical techniques to uncover trading prospects Contribute to the creation of tools that address complex data-related challenges throughout the organization.

Typical Responsibilities of the Quantitative Research Analyst - Data Science:

The primary focus throughout the day is on researching innovative techniques and analyzing datasets Collaborate and present research findings with fellow researchers Implement and oversee tools utilized in daily trading operations.

Required Skill Set for the Role:

Strong quantitative background, including degrees in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing Proficiency in at least one major programming or scripting language (e.g., Python) Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across multiple regions Capability to perform well under pressure.

The minimum base salary for this position is $60,000. This expectation is based on available information at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, which could represent a significant portion of total compensation. Additionally, this role may qualify for benefits, including health, dental, and other wellness plans, as well as 401(k) contributions. The compensation and benefits for successful candidates will be determined based on various factors.
