As a DevOps Engineer at Phasecraft, you will play a critical role in improving our CI/CD processes and managing both on-prem and cloud-based server clusters. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient pipelines to enable smooth and rapid delivery of code to production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub and Jenkins.
- Manage and scale compute capability on-prem and in the cloud, ensuring high availability and implementing best practices for security.
- Deploy a robust database solution for critical experimental data.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, procedures, and workflows.
- Collaborate with the development and research teams to ensure operational requirements are met.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, responding to incidents and implementing preventive measures.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and containerization technologies.
- Experience with agile methodologies and DevOps best practices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Knowledge of network security concepts.
- Experience with at least one cloud computing provider.
