About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team at a leading company based in Gatwick Airport. As a Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and loading/unloading vehicles with a variety of cargo.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift truck and other mechanical equipment
  • Performing warehouse duties, including processing paperwork and handling special cargo products
  • Building and breaking pallets, and preparing and palletizing cargo as needed
  • Manual handling and using safe techniques
  • Operating mechanical handling equipment
Requirements
  • Valid Forklift certificate - counterbalance
  • Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work, with a strong work ethic and common sense
  • Ability to follow instructions and use safe manual handling techniques
  • Willingness to use mechanical handling equipment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

In line with CAA regulations, you will be required to undergo the following security checks prior to commencing work:

  • Basic UK criminal record check
