About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to provide a high standard of premises maintenance across the Wave Multi Academy Trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and carry out both planned and reactive maintenance across the Trust, ensuring compliance with regulatory and health and safety standards.
- Support and oversee a team of maintenance personnel to maintain properties to a high level, ensuring buildings are kept in optimum working condition.
- Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize maintenance needs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Provide guidance and training to maintenance personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential maintenance issues and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Good standard of practical knowledge, skills, and experience of building maintenance work in a school or similar environment.
- Ability to demonstrate general working skills in carpentry, fixing locks, electrical, plumbing, drainage, painting, decorating, and people management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet changing priorities.
