Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Python, Spark SQL, and Azure to join our team at Client Server. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in transitioning our core data platform to Azure, managing 3rd party data ingestion and integration, and improving data quality.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement scalable data architectures using Python, Spark SQL, and Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data quality issues and implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Apache Spark and PySpark.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data engineering.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top-tier university, Computer Science or similar technical/scientific discipline.
  • Strong experience with SQL, Apache Spark, and Python, including PySpark and Pandas.
  • Strong knowledge of modern data engineering best practices.
  • Experience with Azure and Data Bricks is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
