About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Family Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our practice, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver face-to-face and telephone consultations to patients, using a mix of standardized and appropriate booking systems.
  • Participate in a Duty Day, one per calendar week, on a rotation basis, covering for colleagues on Annual Leave.
  • Prescribe, manage incoming correspondence, results, and private work for patients.
  • Collaborate with the Admin team, using Emis Web and Docman clinical systems, to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Develop additional services and increase income streams by taking on medical students.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with a varied team and patient group, with a strong understanding of cultural and socio-economic diversity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and patients.
  • Basic Life Support Training and Safeguarding Training, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
