Job Opportunity: CNC Machinist-Programmer

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist-Programmer to join our team at Atlantis Technical Services in Maple Grove. This is a direct hire opportunity for a 5-Axis CNC Machinist-Programmer to work on our production floor.

Job Summary

The CNC Machinist-Programmer will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating 5-axis machines to produce high-precision parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming, experience working with tight tolerance parts, and advanced GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Program and set up 5-axis machines to produce high-precision parts
  • Operate 5-axis machines to achieve tight tolerance requirements
  • Develop and maintain advanced CNC programs using MasterCam
  • Collaborate with production team to ensure efficient production processes
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 10+ years of experience programming, setting up, and operating 5-axis machines
  • 5+ years of experience working in an ISO or Aerospace environment and a job shop environment
  • Advanced GD&T knowledge and experience working with tight tolerance parts
  • Advanced CAM programming skills with MasterCam
  • High proficiency with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, pins, vision systems, and CMMs
