Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team at HAP Alaska-Yukon. As a Public Area Attendant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our public areas, providing exceptional customer service to our guests, and supporting the overall goals of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of entry-level housekeeping and delivery tasks, including cleaning public areas and operating cleaning equipment.
  • Make supplies deliveries and maintain supply closets, ensuring that all necessary materials are available for our team members.
  • Identify maintenance issues and report them to management in a timely manner.
  • Respond to guest and management questions and inquiries, providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Participate in HAP's sustainability program, actively recycling, reducing waste, and educating guests about our commitment to the environment.
  • Contribute to a safe workplace by participating in HAP's safety culture and adhering to company health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences, maintaining a positive attitude and high level of productivity.
  • Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines, including health and safety standards.
  • Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
