Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Trade Mark Attorney to join our team at Wiggin, a leading law firm specializing in media, technology, and intellectual property. As a Senior Associate or Legal Director, you will advise clients on the full spectrum of trade mark and design issues, including brand audit, brand strategies, trade mark availability searches, filing and prosecution, registry disputes, and domain name complaints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on trade mark and design issues, including brand audit and brand strategies
  • Conduct and supervise trade mark availability searches, filing and prosecution, and registry disputes
  • Instruct and manage local counsel in other jurisdictions and coordinate trade mark prosecution and contentious matters
  • Handle trade mark disputes, including contentious registry actions, cease and desist letters, and experience of IPEC or other trade mark court litigation
  • Advise on and handle domain name and company name complaints
  • Advise on assignment and recordal projects and implement them efficiently
