Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic delivery of the construction and commercial elements of the Enabling Works Programme, ensuring alignment with NHS sustainability and Net Zero targets.
  • Oversee the development and management of project teams, ensuring effective delivery and adherence to best practices.
  • Manage procurement processes for construction and commercial contracts, ensuring alignment with government frameworks and best value for money.
  • Develop and implement integrated governance and risk management plans for the programme.
Project Deliverables
  • Build new multi-story car park to ensure that the hospital's parking needs can be met on the hospital site throughout construction of the new hospital and ongoing operation, based on the Trust's car parking strategy. To include EV charging points including fire suppression measures, flood attenuation and hard & soft landscaping.
  • To provide temporary road access into the Hospital site and a suitable contractor's compound on the adjacent land via a lease or licence.
