Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and mentor the engineering team throughout the design and execution phases.
  • Evaluate and authorize engineering designs.
  • Ensure adherence to engineering protocols and standards.
  • Analyze customer specifications and technical drawings.
  • Develop system designs tailored to client requirements.
  • Generate detailed design documentation and comprehensive packs.
  • Conduct site assessments and contribute to health and safety measures.
  • Facilitate site acceptance testing and commissioning processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents and cost evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in control systems within the energy sector or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with field cabling systems, including surveying and cable calculations.
  • Familiarity with control panel design and PLC systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, AutoCAD, and Excel.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project lifecycles and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in site installation and commissioning activities.
  • Knowledge of Motor Control Centres, wiring regulations, and safety standards.
  • Ability to meet project deadlines and budgetary constraints.
  • Experience with database management.
