Job Description

Quest Employment is seeking an experienced Accounts professional to join our team. As an Accounts Semi Senior, you will be responsible for preparing accounts for various business types, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of accounts for small to medium-sized businesses, including statutory financial statements.
  • Preparation of business and corporate tax computations.
  • Preparation of VAT returns and management accounts.
  • Liaising with clients to collect documentation and information.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in practice in all aspects of accounting, taxation, management, and compliance.
  • ACA/ACCA Qualified or Part-Qualified.
  • Experience of working with small to medium-sized businesses, including OMBs and medium-sized business accounts.
  • Flexible and proactive approach with the ability to solve problems using own initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills and IT skills, specifically Excel.
  • Ability to check work for accuracy and have good attention to detail.
  • Ability and will to travel to client premises.
